Who is responsible

Rebrilo is published by Olga Coufalíková. For anything in this policy, write to coufoli.support@gmail.com.

The application

What it does not do

Rebrilo is distributed through the App Store as a sandboxed application and is built without any network entitlement. It cannot open a network connection, and it does not:

• upload, copy or transmit your photographs anywhere;
• collect usage statistics, telemetry or analytics of any kind;
• ask you to create an account, sign in, or give an email address;
• use advertising, tracking or third-party software development kits;
• send crash reports to us.

What stays on your Mac

Everything. Your photographs are referenced where you already keep them and are never copied, moved or rewritten. Your adjustments, masks, ratings, albums, presets and thumbnails are written into the application's own folder on your Mac. Image analysis — finding a sky, a face or a subject for a mask — is performed on the device by macOS itself, and nothing is sent anywhere to do it.

Where you switch on optional sidecar files, Rebrilo writes ratings and keywords into files beside your photographs, on your own disk, at your instruction.

Purchases

Buying Rebrilo, subscribing and restoring a purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, your email address or your payment details. Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymous sales figures — how many copies sold in which country — which cannot be traced to a person. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Crash reports

If you have turned on sharing analytics with app developers in macOS, Apple may pass us anonymised crash diagnostics. That is a setting on your Mac, under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, and you can turn it off there. We receive nothing else.

This website

These pages are static files. They set no cookies, run no analytics, and load no fonts, scripts, images or styles from any other domain — so nothing here can track you, and there is nothing for a consent banner to ask you about.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub records ordinary server information, including IP addresses, to serve the pages and to protect the service against abuse. That processing is GitHub's and is described in the GitHub Privacy Statement; we have no access to it.

If you write to us

When you send an email to support we necessarily have your email address and whatever you put in the message. It is used to answer you and for nothing else — never for a mailing list, never shared, never sold. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for support and then deleted.

Children

Rebrilo is a tool for photographers and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. In practice we hold none, unless you have written to us — in which case it is your email correspondence, and one message asking for it to be deleted is enough. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the application's release notes.
